2025! How is that possible !?! As we stumble into the future, will this be the year we finally achieve stability and unlock our full potential? or will we just keep winging it and hope for the best. Let us hope so… our cross-country move and the establishment of a new studio have been a wild ride.

Last year, we experienced a gentle introduction to winters in Corning, but this year has been full on. Colder temperatures have been frequent, yet we managed to still survive- mainly because we had to 😉 I feel fortunate to work in a hot shop, especially now that our studio is now almost fully insulated. 

Regrettably, we are still trying to resolve our glass quality issues. I am making a concerted effort to remain optimistic, although it contradicts my natural disposition 🙃. A substantial amount of time and resources have been squandered due to the disposal of numerous defective glass gathers. Ongoing expenses continue to accrue, while minimal glass production is being done.

On a more positive note, I was able to get the 2025 Valentines restock of glass hearts done! The process of making these hearts, involving cane work, has proven less problematic.

While this update may seem somewhat disheartening, it is an honest reflection of our current circumstances, and I am confident that we will emerge stronger, or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

We will continue to persevere, strive for excellence, and turn our challenges into opportunities? or just maybe just make some more glass hearts and hope for the best.
